A chance to embrace nature, explore, learn, wonder and play.
Kids Naturalist Club is running its inaugural Program called ‘The Cygnets’ for 7-9 year olds. With thanks to our supporters this program is free.
Starting September 2nd. Every second Thursday we meet afterschool 3:30 to 4:45pm at the Waratah Community Church Hall in Dawesville.
Topics we cover
What is The Cygnets Nature Club?
A program to connect to kids to the natural world. We use fun and engaging hands on activities to explore, ask questions and better understand the natural world.
Ages for this program are 7 to 9 years olds.
Run by Professional Nature Guides
All instructors have Working with Children Checks, and Seniors First Aid.
Cost of the Program
Thank you to the Restart Mandurah Community Grant and support from the Rotary Club of Mandurah through the Wishing well grant, this program is free!
What Dates does the Cygnet Program Run?
We run every second Thursday starting the 2nd of September. We take breaks over the school holidays and Christmas holidays.
Where does it take place?
The Cygnet Program takes place at Waratah Community Church – Community Hall – we will then be walking as a group to two local reserves for some of our nature exploration. You can find directions to the Community Hall here.
